my memorable birthday

i was sort of expecting to have a memorable birthday this year, because i'm going over the hill afterall. (i'll leave it up to you to guess which "hill" it is, hehe~)

well, it's extremely memorable... coz i got food poisoning... so did my sister... :(

at around 1:30am, both of us woke up throwing up and having an upset stomach... we threw up a few more times throughout the night, and we were almost going to make a trip to the ER. good thing C's mama prepared a stash of travel medication for us prior to the trip, and it so happened to have some that would stop the vomiting and the "loose bowel". we did survive through the night, but unfortunately, i had to cancel all my arrangements for the day and stay home! *sniff sniff* our bodies were so weak and we just slept all day long...

and by coincidence, my buddy who's supposed to hang out with me that day, also got food poisoining from her meal the night before. she was going to visit the doc to get some medication and come join me for the celebrations! so touched!

my birthday wish? GOOD HEALTH, definitely.



(p.s. i did have another celebration 2 days ago so i'm satisfied.)
