the moment i stepped out of the plane and onto the jetway, i felt the intolerable heat and for one second, thought if i could take the same flight back to SF... seriously, i was wearing a sweater when i left SFO and i wish i could take all my clothes off upon arriving japan! (ok, just kidding about taking my clothes off...)
well, i guess the heat will help me sweat and shed some of the toxins... i had the AC on almost 24/7 at home because it's just unbearable not to turn it on... alright alright, i know i'm killing the earth but there's nothing else i can do... i just have to get used to the climate soon... :(
i went to town today and saw a few of these scattered at different places. can you tell what they are?

they're huge ice blocks that are supposed to help cool down the air and let people cool off their hands. see all the kids having fun with it? it's definitely a great and pretty idea, but i don't think it helped a bit... it's still hot as hell... i'm surprised the ice blocks wasn't melting as fast as they should...

also, i missed the olympics opening ceremony which everyone was raving about because i was on the plane... tried to watch on youtube but most of the clips have been removed due to "copyright violation"... (T_T) i did watch those swimming heats, but the more i watch it, the more i want to jump into the pool... ok, i'll shut up about how hot it is now...

it was super hot in vegas too~~triple digits~~even at nite it was close to 90F~~
