one week from today (and tonight)

one week from today, i will be heading to japan to start another new journey. preparations have been going well, but there is still lots to pack and a few more farewells to bid.

and tonight, i picked to dine at my favorite SF steakhouse with my family.

House of Prime Rib has been a historical restaurant in SF, serving traditional english style prime rib. while i don't know when it opened, i know that it's definitely in business for over 56 years.

well, when the gray-haired maitre d' walked pass our table, our waitress joked that he is her boyfriend. he joked back and said she is only one of his girlfriends. funny guy.

our waitress later told us that he has been working at the restaurant for 56 years - started when he was 20. very loyal guy.
