LUCERNE & DIJON
at 8am, the display on the bus showed that the outside temperature in town was -1°C (30°F). but we were heading up 3,020 m (10,000 ft) above sea level, so the temperature must drop drastically. brrrrrhhh~~~~
to climb to the top of mount titlis, it took 45 minutes and 3 cable car transfers. the cable car at the lowest level sat 6 people (like the ones at hk ocean park). the second level was a much larger one which held up to 80 people. the final and highest level was the titlis rotair - world's first revolving cable car.
the mountain was packed with local skiers/snowboarders, and i had a blast watching the pros come down the super steep "double black diamond" slopes.
waiting for the cable car (you can tell how cold it was from the hat my sister was wearing; and i just noticed that my mom looked like 女殺手... haha)
