nice people don't always finish last

{amazing race season 12 finale spoiler alert!}

i have been a loyal fan of the amazing race for many seasons now. i never get tired of watching this race around the world, as it is like watching a travelogue but with lots of excitement and drama!

in tonight's finale, it was the first time ever i couldn't decide on which team to root for. finalists in past seasons always included the good, the bad, and the ugly. my least favorites were the teams that bicker at each other or teams that do nasty things to slow other teams down. and a lot of times they win. ugh! this season's final 3 teams were ronald & christina (father/daughter), tk & rachel (dating), and donald & nicolas (grandfather/grandson). they had been my favorites all along. although ronald & christina had a bad beginning (ronald had the typical father-knows-it-all attitude towards his daughter), they had a good come back by working well together. the other 2 teams were also supportive of each other through-out the race. i was happy to see good teamwork and positive attitude make it to the end. it was kinda sad to see ronald & christina only come in second place because they worked so hard to reconcile their differences and fought to the end, but the winning team did also overcome a lot of obstacles to win the $1M. this season proved that nice people don't always finish last!

i don't think i'll have the guts and determination to be in the race... and i was so sad to have missed the chance to participate in "the amazing race: addison's baby shower edition"! *sob sob* (addison's the real amazing race fan!)
